FREQUENTLY ASKED
QUESTIONS
-
What skincare concerns can your treatments address? The treatments and services that I offer can address sensitized skin, Rosacea, acne, signs of aging, and hyperpigmentation.
-
How often should I schedule treatments for optimal results? To maintain optimal skin health and results, it is generally recommended to book facials every 4 to 6 weeks, which aligns with our skin cell turnover cycle. This regular schedule allows for consistent maintenance of skin hydration, clarity, and overall rejuvenation tailored to your specific skincare needs.
-
Are your treatments suitable for sensitive skin?Yes! I personally have sensitive skin and I enjoy tailoring my services to be effective and luxurious for even the most sensitive skin. I utilize high-quality professional products that are free of known irritants.
-
What can I expect during and after a treatment? When you arrive for your session, we will review your Skincare Intake Form and discuss any concerns that you have about your skin. During your service, I am happy to tell you step by step what products and modalities I am using and why, or you are welcome to request a silent appointment and I can fill you in on the details after! Following your appointment, I will suggest homecare products and future treatment options. I'll give you some water and a snack, take payment, and send you off with glowing skin!
-
Are your estheticians certified and experienced?Absolutely! I have been licensed and insured for over 7 years! I started in Colorado and transferred my licensure to Texas in 2020. I'm a bookworm and a skin nerd and I am always seeking new opportunities for furthering my education!
-
What safety measures do you have in place during treatments?I sanitize and disinfect all tools, surfaces, dishes, and floors with Barbicide, 70% Alcohol, and/or Bleach Solution between each session! I never reuse any implements or linens on clients—gross! My linens are washed on "sanitize" using All Free and Clear Detergent, Lysol Laundry Sanitizer, and Dirty Labs Bio Enzyme Laundry Booster. I also wear a mask during all services to prevent spreading germs (or you smelling any weird breath lol). I wear gloves for the duration of all services and I change them out between steps. I have been trained in avoiding bloodborne pathogen exposure and I take your health and mine seriously! Additionally, if it appears that there are cold sores or other open lesions present on your skin at the time of your service, I will ask that you re-schedule for my safety and yours!
-
Can I receive a facial during pregnancy?Yes, you can get a facial while pregnant, but it's important to choose treatments that are safe for you and your baby. We offer specially tailored prenatal facials that use gentle, non-invasive techniques and pregnancy-safe products. Always inform your esthetician about your pregnancy, and avoid treatments involving strong chemical peels, retinoids, or high-frequency devices. Your comfort and safety are our top priorities, so we ensure all procedures are suitable for expectant mothers.

I have a cold sore, can I still get a facial?I understand how frustrating cold sores can be, and I'm here to help. It’s best to wait until your cold sore has completely healed before getting a facial. This is to ensure your comfort and prevent any potential spreading or irritation. In the meantime, I recommend focusing on soothing treatments at home. Once your cold sore has healed, I’ll be ready to provide you with a rejuvenating facial to keep your skin looking its best. If you have any questions or need advice on skincare during this time, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me.

What skincare brands do you work with?I only use professional products during my services including Le Mieux, Skin Script RX, Hale and Hush, Viktoria De Ann, Shira Organics and Saian Skincare. For massage, I use Biotone products or pure natural oils including Jojoba.
